Vesta Usova: A Rising Star in Indie Rock with Her Debut Single “In Search of You”

She confessed, "When I realized that everything I was singing about was actually happening in my life, I took a hiatus from music. But now, I'm back."

Vesta is not only the singer but also the sole composer and lyricist of the song. Since childhood, she has been playing the guitar, ukulele, and piano. As she humorously puts it, she's also been "getting on people's nerves" for a long time. All of her songs carry a melancholic atmosphere. She even stepped away from her music career for a while to battle depression. However, she's now fully prepared to make a comeback and create music that comes straight from her heart.

Here's an interesting tidbit: The music video for the single was filmed in just one day with a budget of less than $100. Vesta said, "It was crucial for me to prove to myself that I could create something amazing with what I have at the moment. So, my friends and I managed to complete it in a single day!"

The process of arranging the song also presented its own set of challenges.

She explained, "Arranging a song always involves some degree of compromise. You present it to the sound producer as if it's your own precious child, and then it has to be adjusted to suit the audience. I'm extremely thankful to Vyacheslav Tyurin (Viviti), a remarkable producer and the owner of the Viviti music label, for working on this song, refining it, and still preserving its original essence."
